Mom and Dad went to the hospital Friday morning.
They were excited to have a baby! This was Mom's plan, but the baby's head was up instead of down, so they had to wait for the doctor to turn her around. It was hard to wait at school and after school! Aunt Michelle came to our house to tend us and Jen Ramsdell took me to cello. And still no baby!
Finally, the baby was ready to come out!
Karen had 4 babies to deliver that night, and ours was the first one. Karen was really tired. She had jetlag from her trip to Tanzania. She just climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro. The nurses had to wake her up from a nap to deliver Tziporah.
My mom only had to push three times and the baby was out! I wish I could have been there. I am sad that the hospital doesn't let kids in because I really wanted to see her be born. Ruby got to cut the cord, but I get to be the first one to hold her when she gets home, and I got to decide on her middle name. I chose Delilah because Daddy's grandma was named Delilah. As soon as Tziporah Delilah was born, they handed her to my mom. She was so tiny! She weighed 5 pounds, 11 ounces.
My Dad LOVES babies!
She was crying because of the cold and the shock!
It's not fair that Golda and Ruby got to be there and I didn't.
Everybody got to see her except me just because I'm younger. I can't wait to hold her. Ellison wanted to come and see her, too.
My dad took Freestone and me to the hospital and we got to look through this tiny window and see our little sister. I couldn't believe how tiny and cute she was! She was crying a little. Maybe she didn't like being held up to the window.
I was glad I got to see her, but it made me a little sad because I miss my mom. I'm so happy that I have another little sister. When she gets older, she is going to share a room with me. I'll probably be her favorite sister. I'm good at taking care of babies. I love you, Tizzy!!
See you tomorrow!

Ari you are already such an amazing big sister! Thank you for putting up so many fun pictures for us to see of the cute baby. I'm sure it was hard to not be able to see the baby in the hospital, but luckily you have the rest of your life to be with that cute baby!
